What is therapy?
Therapy provides a safe and supportive space for clients to work through their concerns around aspects of their experience. The relationship between the therapist and client is based on trust, acceptance, understanding, and confidentiality. The therapist aims to empower the client, to make choices for their own life, which serve them in the ways that they need. Lucinda practices from the biopsychosocial approach which recognizes that we all have complex factors which influence our well being. She believes each person has within, unique strengths and gifts to contribute to this world. By looking at our struggles in a loving and supportive atmosphere, we can begin to learn how to regulate difficult emotions and to behave in ways which serve our lives and improve our relationships. A more peaceful and content life is possible for us all.
